Tencent’s onboard map to cover 100 Chinese cities in 2022
According to the vice president of Tencent’s smart transportation division, the company’s road network collecting fleet is likely the largest one in China. Its high-precision map has covered 350,000 kilometers of highway and city expressways in the country, and expects the coverage to reach all the roads in the top 100 cities in China by the end of the year.

CPCA: China accounts for 31% of global auto market in Jan.-May period
According to the secretary general of China Passenger Car Association, Cui Dongshu, China maintained a 31% share of the world’s auto market in the first five months of 2022, while North America and Europe both saw a decline in their respective market share.
China-made Volvo C40 rolls off line
The Volvo C40 has rolled off the production line in the automaker’s Taizhou factory. The model is expected to officially hit the market in early July. Presale of the C40 has been kicked off with a price range of RMB267,000-RMB328,000.
